    TO, if you are using Windows, I think it has a firewall that is automatically turned on....if so, that could be the problem.

    since I got eset smart security that have a built in firewall, which turns windows off.. I have totally forgotten about it even being there. but I haven't installed eset on the other one, as it's only used for testing shit on

    Most firewall systems allow you to specify domains that are to be ignored...i.e., not interferred with. This approach is safer than turning the entire firewall off.

    yup.. just didn't even consider that it was the firewall that was fucking messing with me, as it's not stopping any others than rapidgators downloads, and I didn't realize that once I turned my real firewall off, I still had a firewall there
