As usual, Sunday is my favorite night off, but not like this! Grrrr. I'm a little pissed.

At first I woke up at my regular time, which is now an hour too early. But I slept another half hour. It's getting dark too early now!

 

Hi pm, we know everything (almost)

 

They only got one day's notice, so I'll lose tonight's work. Maybe I can get an extra shift from someone who wants a night off next week.

 

I wish they would just leave it at standard time for the entire years.....the change twice a year messes me up for at least a week each time....:sad:

 

More daylight drives the economy more during the summer months - plus kids get to play outside later!

it's fucking ridiculous. it's not only making life harder for us humans, it's also affecting our animals as they are used to food and love at certain times, and then twice a year we suddenly come an hour later or sooner to feed them

I think for every pro there is a con for each. I prefer the standard time as I like it to get light earlier in the day when most people are trying to wake up.....and the only savings I can see for daylight savings time is maybe an hour less parking lot lights at night. Plus it is pretty well accepted that daylight savings time killed movie drive-ins.....

The dogs didn't try to vigorously wake me up today - Leo scraped his paw on the bed a couple times, but that's about it.

 

Add on: I thought they'd be barking to wake me up, because their food was late due to the time change.

 

My dogs have loved having the back door open all day......they have stayed out virtually all day. Plus, they got another mole.....and I have to fill in several tunnel holes...
