    They do not eat it.....and it is not mangled much. Domenic typically does not intentionally kill anything.....he frequently catches lizards and plays with them....if they play dead, he loses interest and walks away from them...then they run back into the bushes. I think Domenic is digging the mole up and Amelie is "snuffing" them, but I have not seen this.....I have seen her dispatch a squirrel and a very large racoon in nano-seconds.

    If my dogs caught an animal, I don't think they'd eat it either. I've always read that, in the wild, the mother has to teach the young how to eat their kill, but the kill-instinct-without-eating is present in all domestic dogs and cats.

    do you sell them? several years ago I save about one cubic yard of crushed soda cans.....only got about $2 for them......spent that on gas getting to the place and back. Now I just put them out with my other recycling....we have three kinds of trash pickup, once a week each....1. garbage, 2. paper/glass/can/plastic/cardboard recycle, and 3. yard debris.

    In Michigan we get 10 cents per can. People actually try to sneak into the state to recycle their stuff here. They did a whole Seinfeld episode about it. :lol:
