Local model, friends with a photog friend of mine.

 

Good thing I could copy/paste that name.....I would have never been able to spell it correctly otherwise....

 

I'm scrolling down all the FB posts I missed while I was sleeping. My photog friend posted "Like her page, she's great!" (I'm paraphrasing.) So I did!

 

She goes by "Rashontae Anna" 'cause nobody can spell her name.

 

The news just covered the NASCAR fight with Jeff Gordon. Wow!

 

My stomach woke me up early. Still having some trouble, but I think it'll go away tonight.

Yeah...I am waiting to see what NASCAR Admin does about it......I think they will take great exception to the fact that the pit crew started the brawl......The replays of the incident that lead to it all I have seen are not fair....the replays just show show No. 15, Clint Bowyer giving Jeff Gordon a nudge on the left rear wheel well. They don't show the fact that the bump caused the tire to deflate sending Gordon into the wall, there by knocking him out of contention. Bowyer clipped Gordon several time in races throughout the year knocking him out of races, one where Gordon was leading in the final ten laps. Both are in the title chase and I guess Gordon just had had enough and decided to take Bowyer out too. Personally, I think it was justified and think NASCAR should fine the shit out of Bowyer's pit crew for the brawl.

The news media really sucked on that race.....in the final laps, a green/white/checker (the race was extended as they do not allow a long caution to end a race, so they run the last two laps; green flag to start, white flag for the last lap, and checker flag at the finish) Danica Patric was nailed in the rear and spun out in the forth turn.....the news media never mentioned the fact that it was not her fault.....then, NASCAR did not throw the caution out and the final lap finish was thru all of the oil that Patric had dropped on the track and that is why there was the big, final wreck at the finish. NASCAR has some serious explaining to do as to why they allow that to happen.

Now I wish I had watched the race! Sounds like many fines should be handed out - and a review of procedures, too.

 

Clean and shiny now. And I started the laundry.

 

The first 2/3 of the race was rather bland....Johnson started (the was the points leader at the beginning of the race) back at about the 25th spot and was struggling to work his way to the front. That was the only interesting thing about the first part of the race.....He blew a right front tire with 77 laps left and had to go to the garage for many laps to make repairs.....after that, the action started.

 

I have lots of errands to run tomorrow and chores around the house, but not really doing much of anything now....all thru the day I was adding to my to-do list for tomorrow.

 

The news showed a still photo from the Cale Yarborough fight with ? in 1971-ish, saying that was the mother of all man-to-man fights on the track.

 

That was the first NASCAR race ever fully broadcast.....the fight was between Yarborough and the two Allison brothers, Donnie and Bobbie. It was the Daytona 500. It is funny to hear them get together on racing talk shows and talk about that.
