I strained a chest muscle while raking gravel. I thought I was having a heart attack.

Yardwork has a different meaning in the desert. The backyard is just a gravel lot. Generally speaking, if it's green, it dies.

 

I have to go clean the grill. back in a few.....

 

And I have to do several things....bbl

Any highlights?

 

I got there at 7:05 AM and waited until 8 AM for the registration desk to open....then the first course was from 9 to 1. I wasted some more time, then when to the front desk to see if I cold check in early without added $....I could and I did. I had nothing for the rest of the day, so I just chilled in the room and made occasional trips back to the convention area to see if any old buddies had wondered in...very few had. The food at the hotel was so expensive I walked around for several block to find a reasonable place to eat...then just went back to the room and watched weird TV....did not get to sleep until after 2 AM with the alarm going off at 6:30 AM. Got showered and dressed, then down to the convention area by 8 AM....had muffins and coffee...lots of coffee..with courses starting at 8:30 and ending at 2:30...during the morning break, I checked out of my room, so at 2:30 I left. All in all, too much time with nothing to do and the courses were very dry and also boring. But I got my professional training hours over, so mission accomplished.

 

No, not really....like I said earlier....the trip was incident free so that was all I was really wanting.
