Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     just curious - do most people own guns up there Inuk?

    I'd imagine so for hunting. What do you need to do to get a gun? Do you need to have been trained on how to use it safely?

    And is there much gun violence? I'm thinking that people up their don't go around shooting each other.

    yes there are a lot of guns up here. but I would say 95% of them are for hunting. a few own them for collections, like a coworker of mine.

    there was a shooting maybe 3 years ago. a feud escalated, drugs and alcohol were involved, one man killed 3 men wounded 2 others. he's awaiting appeal right now.

    Yes the news coverage on this was atrocious. So much misinformation.

    Its hard to even try to imagine being directly affected by this. I have 2 girls in school 5 and 7. It really resonates with me. we already had an incident earlier this year where the school went on lockdown because some criminal character was seen in the area odd the school.

    sad. guns and alcohol/drugs don't mix. I especially don't like a drunk or someone high with a gun. :(

    yep it resonates. everyone either has kids or nieces & nephews - and since you and I are relatively close geographically that makes it especially hit home.

    would you even pick up your gun after drinking Inuk? (back when you did drink). I'm sure you wouldn't know that so many bad things could happen.

    I would never handle a firearm after a drink there Throbbn. they are locked up and keys secure only accessible by myself.
