    I'm good. We had a vigorous discussion today at work about "snow days". :D

    In the old days if it snowed, you wouldn't go in. You could stay at home and watch Oprah. :D

    Now they tells us "the weather report says snow - bring your laptop home". :lol:

    a lot of Moms in the workplace take their cue from the schools ... if school is cancelled they stay home with the kids. :D

    there are times the storms are so bad I can't go in there Throbbn. but it has to be super bad. our Guys at the Airport run 8 hour shifts, one storm was so bad one of the Guys worked a 34 hour shift! after 23 hours straight he slept on shifts and watched the weather. when it cleared he called me and I grabbed a Loader from town and opened up the Airport Road.

    I hear you. Different situation with an airport ... it would be cool to drive a loader home ... then plow your way back in the morning.

    have passengers ever gotten snowed in at the airport?

    oh our Airport is 4 kilometers out of town. if we have to open up the road after a storm we get the Loaders parked in our Town Garage.

    there has been a couple of times for a couple hours. a plane would land, the visibility dropped below 1/2 of a mile which is their minimum for taking off. they would have to wait til the Weather Dude calls 1/2 a mile or more.

    so nothing super major. I'll bet you detain pretty stewardesses longer than that! :lol:

    ever see news report of big airports in Ny, Chicago, Boston, etc. - sometimes a big storm strands folks for days.
