    For all of you whining about being out of work....

    4 weeks ago I got hurt while climbing off a truck. They sent me to the emergency room. Ultrasound came back with some testicular trauma and an unexplained "mass".
    So I got sent home.

    Last Friday I had surgery a "right radical orchidectomy".

    Yep, it was testicular cancer and they removed my right nut. 2 tumors 1 had grown in a week to the size of a racquetball the other a shooter marble.

    Now I'm looking at 5 years of surveillance treatments and bi-monthly trips to the oncologist for monitoring, so there goes trucking.

    So in the last month, I got cancer, lost a testicle, spent $12,000, lost my new career, and theres a possibility that I may now be developing complications from the surgery that I find out about Monday.

    Yeah.

    Makes ya feel better, dont it?

    Welcome to my 2013

    January 13th I had my first accident in 26 years by sliding down a mountain in Virginia; charge with operating the vehicle unsafely (reckless driving) from a dead stop never surpassing 3 mph and hitting the driver side of another truck
    February 21 work injury becomes major issue
    March 11th diagnosed with testicular cancer
    March 15th surgery to remove right testicle with 2 tumors
    March 18th lose court case for accident, lawyer and prosecutor both agree to seek alternative venue since the judge wouldnt even allow evidence to be presented.
    March 20th possible complications from surgery under observation

    The feel better thing was just about perspective. I was talking to a good friend on the phone and he was talking his way around to asking for a good sized loan; in the conversation I told him what was going on and he was floored. He said he thought his life was fucked up but now it didnt seem too bad.
