Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The local cable provider is switching to entirely digital signal. Those with older TVs need a converter to receive the signal. Some of the folks in my buildings have TVs manufactured the year I graduated, with VCR players( yes they still exist), DVD players, and stereo receivers all hooked up. We go in and install the DTAs, program the new remote, and then figure out how to educate them on how to still use everything they have hooked up to the old set.

    :tup: Gotcha! We are still a split household with one digital TV and the rest analog. I just added the DVRs as my wife tapes her shows on VHS and all of our tape recorders have died. Love the DVRs we have.
