    Yeah....can only hope he can make a full recovery. I saw that once live in a college game.....what a sickening sound.....that pitcher recovered, but never returned to baseball afterwards.

    Toronto pitcher was virtually taped and strapped completely to a stretcher and they wheeled him off. His arms were moving though.

    He was moving on the ground.....at that point, the players were attempting to keep him still. It hit him squarely in the center portion of the left side of his head.....I am sure he was not fully conscience.

    The batter was so upset that he hit the pitcher that he walked off 1st base into the opposing team's dugout to find out from the trainer if the pitcher was going to be all right.
