I was flying it below the tree line during a slightly windy day. I was doing a left back to come back towards me while around 500 yards away. I mistakenly went above the tree line during the bank turn. A gust of wind lifted the plane straight up and then sent it into a downward spiral. I tried unsuccessfully to regain control. Crashed nose first into the ground.

 

ah no, that's too bad! how much do you have to repair?

I had one years ago but it was much smaller.

I had a really good talk with my Baby today. not much longer for her to come home! we are really hoping before the end of the month. but that being said, I am going to concentrate on rebuilding our Relationship. so that probably means I will be around here significantly less...

 

Lots to repair on the plane. It knocked the engine completely out of the nose. Busted up the fuel lines, knocked off the landing gear, punched to holes in the wings ( about 1 inch and 2 inches ), and put a pin hole in the fuel tank.

Your baby might be home before the end of the month. Wow, thats sooner than I thought. We will miss you here, but I completely understand your line of thinking. Spending time with her is much much more important.

 

ah damn that is going to be a bit of work! but it's going to be fun!

yeah we are REALLY looking forward to being together! I know we have a lot to work on to rebuild our trust in our Relationship but we will get there. it will be different taking a step back but I know it will be the right decision. I will still come here to check on things, but will be a lot less.

 

hey check this out, B737 taking off. took the pic from the far side of our Runway. about 500 feet away. just the right time!

 

Yeah it will take time, but time heals all wounds as the saying goes. Good you will still be coming by.

oh we are going to get through this. I mean, we got this far right? I know it took so much for me to even talk with her let alone forgive her for that night. but he, I was there that night too right. there was so much more to that night that we don't know about, we are working through it. and the huge thing is, my Family forgave her too and accepts the fact we are working things through as they know how much we love each other.

I am not going to abandon this place, never could.

Well having your family support you and her will be major. Its hard to move forward if those close to you wont let the past go. Moving forward and working through wont be all easy, but you two seem to be doing the necessary things to make it work out. Im glad to hear you have family support. I really wish the two of you the very best.

 

oh it is. not only my Family but her Family as well. She has one older Sister, a younger Brother who lives in Southern Canada and her Mom and Uncle. I haven't met the younger Brother yet, but I still take care of her Family here. buy them food or items when they need it. when we were dealing with Court my Baby could not stay with me as I'm in a Staff House. She can now that they know we are working things out and we are healthy.

but when we couldn't, I stayed at her Moms with her 80% of the time. this was after we knew we wanted to reconcile.

Good to hear your so close to her family also. You and her must have been together a long time before all this happen.

 

we are very close.

we've been together for almost 2 years now. June 6th.

after we started going out She moved in after about a 2 weeks. we really fell hard for each other! we knew it was meant to be. She is the only one that I have gone out with that I have flown home to meet my Family. and the only one that I flew to my Moms Hometown to meet the rest of our Family.

 

That really sounds like true love. Your family is not there where your at.

I moved away from my Hometown in 1999. about 280 miles from home, then another 250 miles from my Moms hometown. no roads up here so we have to fly to other Communities

 

Ah, I didnt know there was no roads and you have to fly from place to place like that.

 

yeah this is a huge Territory by landmass but small by population. this Community has 1600 People, my Hometown has 1400, my Moms Hometown has 500.

our Territory is 2.5 times larger than Texas but has a Population of 34,000 People.

going to go check on the Airport quickly, be back in 20 min.

there, the bedroom is clean. tackling one room at a time. didn't realize I had so much empty boxes in there.
