Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Day was OK.....after having my security system check over including replacement of all lithium batteries on Monday, the unactivated system again signaled a tamper call to the monitoring station.....was awakened by the police at 3 AM this morning. This morning I disconnected the power from the system, disconnected the battery backup, and disconnected the telephone line, followed by a trip to the security company. I was very polite, but let them know that I was extremely unhappy with their equipment and service, etc., etc. and signed the necessary documents for them to discontinue monitoring services. They wanted another chance to come out and see what went wrong, etc. for no charge. In fact, they were rather persistent to the point of really starting to irritate me; however, I said no, you had your chance, etc. I then told them how I had disabled the system, so I would not be bothered and fined anymore, and further, I had no intention of paying any more monitoring charges to them. They finally got the message and we completed our business. Other than that, it has been a great day.

    Yes. I never wanted a security system, but the wife did. We do not have the kind of things that attract thieves, plus now I have the dogs which are pretty good trespasser alerts!
