I spent 45 minutes brushing Amelie this morning.....filled a 5-gallon (~20 liters) bucket with her fur. AND I only got maybe 75% of the loose downy fur as she had had enough of the brushing. :D Then spent the next two hours bathing her and Domenic. That is enough work for one day. ;)

Based upon my measurements, I have a high/low estimate on the cost to expand my back patio concrete slab.....low of $6K and high of $9K. That is based upon 120 square yards (a little less than 120 square meters).

Indeed it is. I have a two story house and the patio is on the north side of the house. In the winter, the angle of the sun is such that no sunlight hits on the end of the existing patio slab and about 6 feet of grass....so the grass dies leaving a sandy area. My dogs track that sand into the house year around. This is primarily to address that issue. We can also use the addition patio area.

The size of my back yard is only a benefit to my dogs....more me, it is just that much more I have to maintain. :?
