    Within the first year or two after getting my Harley, I was on a straight rural road and cranked it......got to 125, was still pulling like a mule......and I backed off. that was enough....I will never personally know how fast that bike will run. I could not say that about any of my previous bikes. :lol:

    I have been 110 and 130 in autos, an Impala super sport 1964 and a 1968? camero (with hi performance work on it). that was scarier than the 165 on a bike......that freaking Camero was all over the place! :shock:

    i was up over 120 not sure how much faster as that is where the speedometer on the 88 mustang went to..........pretty fun on a straight away racing a few chicks in a dodge daytona............as we entered into florida for spring break way back when.......

    I have had a good noght too. Think tomorrow will be even better for me. I have been working on an electrical problem with my bike and I decided last week to take it to the dealership. I will be there the entire time, have an appointment, and will find out just what they did 5 years ago when the installed the modulated add on light system. I could fix it, but I hate to go through a lot of time and work when I have no idea as to circuits, components, etc. Just pulling the gas tank to get to the wire runs take two hours for me. You don't just disconnect the fuel line and a few bolts and lift off the tank. I know. I have done it before.

    So, I will get this issue resolved tomorrow hopefully! :p

    My first car was a mustang.....1965 convertible, 289, 4-bbl, 4 speed on floor. Paid $400 for it and towed it to my efficiency apartment. Spent about $180 on parts and rebuilt the engine. You always love your first car, but this car really sucked! Have not had another Ford since! :lol:
