Now that the Sharks have lost their first game, I'm pretty much done with hockey - as the Sharks are done with the playoffs.... damn chokers.

heh... yeah I know. I'm just being very guarded as all of San Jose and most of Northern California have been bitterly disappointed the last 4-5 years... last year was REALLY awful.

I expect the Sharks to bounce back, but they're perpetuating the stereotype that all NHL teams give them - too soft in the playoffs, no killer instinct and playing not to lose rather than playing to win.

 

But see Inuk, that's the thing... it SHOULDN'T be a long series. SJ Sharks should roll past the Avalanche and ready themselves for the next round. My expectation is that they'll win the first round series, BUT it'll take all seven games - and that shouldn't be the case.

Well, looks like we're not alone to have such weird fans. In Montreal, even US don't think will beat the Capitals. It takes lot of "if and but"... we'll see...
