    Actually, I've had to remind myself it's not Saturday a couple of times today. ;)

    'Elf and Safety mostly.

    A BA Jumbo flew through a volcanic ash cloud, it's engines went to shit and it dropped several thousand feet in a few seconds.

    But this was a proper thick cloud (ie could be seen from the ground), and with different constituents. They rolled it out as an excuse for people, even thought anyone with a modicum of knowledge knew it was bollocks.
