    Huh, it seems that even though the drag was sixty or so feet, there were only 6 or 7 actual holes totalling 12-13 square feet. And it sunk in 2 hrs 40 minutes.

    Looks like the Gulf is pretty much fucked. Todays grand idea is to run a soda straw down the hole and expand it to plug the hole....

    We take vacation day for holiday so it's all the same. Weird ways of hospitals....

    Not really anything substantial. Basically they're still scrambling around trying to figure out what to do. All the coast towns are putting so called barriers up out at the bay but it'll only slow it down...won't stop it. All everyone can do right now is just hope the wind keeps blowing out so the spill will stay at sea until they can figure out something. It REALLY sucks. My vacation spot will be hit in a matter of time if they don't do something.

    sometimes names are pretty... interesting in the backview. Deep Sea Horizon.... if that is what´s on the horizon... :neutral:people can´t really handle a volcano-ashes-cloud but think they can drill for oil in 2miles deep?

    The fact that they didn't/still don't have a "disaster recovery" plan in place is what bothers me. Anything and everything at some point will fail, you should know what to do when it happens.

    It's all about the money. We dont ACTUALLY know shit about our planet 100 miles down, nobody's ever been there, but they spend hundreds of millions of $$$ every year to try and find out if there's water on Mars...

    And even tho, these are the same people who claimed the earth was flat or everything revolved around the earth or any of the other absurd things science has claimed over the centuries, people just keep on believing them. Kinda sad, really.
