Not so much clubbing, but I go out a lot. Mostly dive bars and a few cool local places. I'm not much of a dancer, so I usually avoid clubs! haha

Yep! There's a lot of cool ones around here on the beach or the intercoastal. It's where I spend a lot of my time.

 

I fucking hate clubbing even though I was a DJ and club promoter for quite a while. Try figuring that one out because I can't.

 

The local I usually hang out is pretty much a dive bar. It gets a weird mix of people in it sometimes.

My favorite time is when some people come in, look around from the doorway, and then turn around and leave

 

What is a dive bar out of interest?

 

Lol I know a lot of people here who are the same way! They all say they love the lifestyle and perks of the job at first, but then it gets old.

 

I have no problem understanding that.

 

I'm not a big fan of it either :?

Other than a few sports type bars, you can't go anywhere in downtown Denver because they're all dance clubs :?

 

The club scene can age a person pretty quick.

Yea that happens sometimes. I love when people do that! You can always tell who the locals are! lol

Just an old, run-down bar where normally a lot of locals go. Cheap drinks and good company (usually).

 

You like music, the money was relatively easy, and plenty of eye-candy. Simple

 

I did like the music I played for a bit (drum and bass) and still play it on the drums because it's fun and challenging. I got into promoting through a friend and it was mostly in China, where at the time they played nothing but hideous German techno, which I think put me off for life.

 

That sucks. There's a good mix of places in my area. But down in Miami, forget it. There are so many clubs.

Here in the UK it's pubs all the way for me. If you go to what constitutes a bar here, it's likely to contain the kind of people who'd stab you in the face if you knocked their drink over. Chavs and wideboys are the colloquialisms I'd use.
