    spent 5 hours in the Shop getting the sled ready again.

    was radar'd at 102 miles per hour. came in 4th.

    changed the studs in the track, have 240 new studs in. tired.

    Arguably, Band of Brothers is one of the best representations of WW2 in Europe. It was based off a great book that centered around the elite Army Airborne Paratroopers. It's a well-written and crafted real story and shows how WW2 in Europe was the last noble and "honorable" war endeavor.

    What I really like about "The Pacific" is its the absolute opposite of Band Of Brothers... it shows in graphic deal the horrible reality of war and the awful price paid by the Marines in the Pacific. The tone is overall fairly oppressive and the violence gets so bloody it's often hard to watch. The worse was Chapter 9, the battle of Okinawa where Okinawan civilians (women and children) get caught in the middle - the worse is seeing how the Japanese army forcing Okinawan civilians into human shields... I had to turn away once in awhile because it was awful to watch. But at the end of the mini-series, I have a newfound respect and understanding of WW2 in the Pacific.
