    Well, here in Florida, the sun is brutal and you sweat profusely, so hydration is most important here also.......a day of yard work means two to three gallons of fluids for me.......at least my skin is not dry and flaky! :lol:

    heh talk aboot scribe and me being polar opposites.

    last year I was walking around a Military Twin Otter with a Pilot I just met. now keep in mind, for the previous 2 weeks it was -40C/-40F without the wind chill. it warmed up to only -30C/-22F without the wind. there was no wind and the Sun was shining.

    so we did the walkaround of the plane just chatting. took about 5 minutes. I had my Polaris Jacket on, zipper wasn't on. I only had my jeans, that was it no wind pants and my running shoes. no gloves my hands were in my pocket. I said to him, "damn it's a beautiful day isn't it."

    he looked at me and said "holy shit you aren't cold?"

    I laughed and told him "no I'm fine" I looked at him and he had huge military parka, wind pants, huge winter boots, toque, hood up, face mask and mitts up to his elbows!

    he said "you guys are fucking tough up here."

    I am clueless concerning your complexion.......my comment was based upon my oldest son's trip to Arizona.....the dry air caused him discomfort.....nose bleeds and dry, flaky, itchy skin, etc. :D

    PM, got Amelie clipped today.......she almost looks nude, but I had them leave sufficient fur to insure she would not have any sun problems. She is much cooler now, but really looks strange to me. :D
