• post threads with files hosted on fileserve, oron etc. - check this for allowed filehosts.
  
• add posts to existing threads with vids hosted on the same filehost as the initial post of that thread.

Yeah, it's too bad that fileserve is not allowed. It seems to be a really good host.

 

While I agree Fileserve seems to work quite well, I'm suspiciously leery - part of it is the nature of believing in "if it's too good to be true" mantra. Also, Fileserve's and Filesonic/Sharingmatrix's interface look nearly identical which is also suspiciously odd to me.

Are people in the UK and other parts of Europe still having issues with Filesonic/Sharingmatrix?

 

most of user are not able to download a single file of filesonic. But It is allowed host. Everywhere people suffering from filesonic/sharingmatrix. Fileserve its a nice host and much stable than filesonic/sharingmatrix. User can download from this host.

I only have had problems with fsonic a couple of times. works pretty good the rest of the times. don't know how fileserve works..

 

I'm in Germany and I never had ANY kind of problems with filesonic. I have uploaded a whole bunch of scenes to fileserve now and it's REALLY good. Remote upload is really fast. FTP always works at full speed.

Plus, fileserve doesn't have a waiting time between downloads (as free user) I believe.

I can't say anything about fileserve-premium though, cause I only have a free account right now.

 

Not got a sausage from FS for a while now.

Seems to be a UK problem, but varied in different places. Some are fine, some get 7008, like me.

 

I can't access FS/SM in China either, for whatever that's worth. I use a web tunnel and can usually access it that way, but it's slow and often hangs.

Worse than the performance issues, I hate FS for the type of money-grubbing jackoffs it's brought to Phun

 

My experience with FS as a downloader has been mostly unsatisfactory. Occasionally I'll be surprised by a download that is acceptably fast but I usually have to attempt three or more times to get reasonable speed. ( I am a Premier user of FS) Over the last week I have run into a problem where I cannot even access the file because it "cannot be found" and to try later. I have been extremely happy with HF and am continuously requesting that uploaders mirror their clips there. Several have done just that and for that I am grateful.

 

well, this wasn´t supposed to be another place to share joy or discomfort with various filehosts - just a short reminder for those who are constantly using either of those mentioned filehosts or feeling the need to repost vids - your efforts are doomed to be trashed. wasted effort.
