  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Still looking around. We've been really busy snapping pictures and we made a few small changes to the website so our host stopped giving us crap - for now. I'd really like to find something that has PPV cam abilities included but I can't seem to find anybody that has anything like that. So it looks like we are going to piece stuff together. But I'm going to keep looking - got Hostgator at the top of the list.

    That is a billing issue not necessarily a server based issue. In order for you to have PPV you will need a billing service like CCbill to process the transactions for you. I don't know if you would want to put out so much money for their processing services to justify having it on your program. CCbilling charges $750 for Visa processing plus a 14.5% fee plus 5% holdback. That is alot of money to shell out but i don't know if the income level would justify it or not. What you can do is sign up with a reputable cam network if you are interested in making money that way. They already have all the expertise and know how and you can just get a cut. If you are planning on making a paysite with sets of images for sale then that is a totally different story. ;)

    well that will be the hosting cost, script cost, and ccbilling. on top of the initial $750 you also will have the annual $300 payments.


    If you are serious about wanting to do a modeling site then let me know, my email i sent you is also my IM, I can see about getting you in with a program so you won't have to take as huge a financial risk.
