    Joaquin Phoenix's turn from actor to rapper is getting more bizarre by the day. On David Letterman's "Late Show" Wednesday night, the Two Lovers star seemed completely out of it, staring off into space, answering questions with one-word answers and, at one point, sticking gum on the edge of Letterman's desk.

    This guy is the best! He is out of his mind!

    so you all fell for it.
    it was an act phoenix was doing for some stupid documentary/mockumentary that casey affleck is shooting. it has something to do with the whole rapper bit he's doing. casey was shooting the whole thing on his camera while phoenix is being interviewed. i didn't see the video put here, i've seen the youtube one, but what is left out of the video is where after the entire interview, phoenix is seen taking off his glasses and leans over to letterman and whispers something to him. this is said to be him letting letterman in on the joke. letterman is known to go along with these types of things. andy kauffman is one of the firsts, and that was all an act. then there was crispin glover who many thought was high on something. but in reality glover was playing a character called mr. farr that was part of some performance art piece he did. you can youtube the video called "clowny clown clown" if you want to see glover's music video of that.

    as for phoenix, he was still in character later on and the next day at some of the events he attended. casey affleck was nearby videotaping the whole thing.

    what a fuckin' jackass....i don't know what his trip is...but he needs to get over it and start up his acting again....there isn't anything else that he's good at except for that.
