Assume everyone in the western world has had a camera in their pocket for the last 20 years now. Assume anyone worth seeing naked took pics of themselves somewhere at least once during that time. Assume everyone has a set.

Accept that you're not going to ever see 99.999999999999999% of any of them. Stop wasting energy chasing ghosts. Start enjoying was does get out instead of cursing what doesn't.

I think a reFappening in 2024 would likely get dismissed as deepfakes. At least they'd attempt to, anyway. There would always be an air of doubt.

 

Someone in this thread has already promised there will be a notable batch of new leaks on the anniversary (9/2/24)

It would likely include a bunch of deepfakes, even some planted by agents/publicists with the intent of discrediting the whole lot. That would be the best of both worlds for them, they get the free publicity and can decry the whole thing as a hoax.

 

Only Z-list clout chasers leak their own nudes. The idea that celebrities do it themselves is just cope from weirdos who want to make themselves feel better about fapping to private pics.

 

That's not what he's saying, I don't think. He's saying fakes would be included to be proven as fake to poison the well.

I don't think celebs will do it, though. The internet will do it for them, like how some of the JL pics weren't her.

 

Yeah IIRC the face covered in cum was shown to be on 4Chan before the leaks

 

He saying it would give them free publicity, which is a trope that goes back to the Pam and Tommy tape. The media doesn’t even report on leaks anymore.

The last one I remember helping to leak and promote their own sex tape for publicity was Kim Kardashian when all people knew about her was her surname. I remember seeing her appear on set for an E! Entertainment interview where she was smiling when she said she was "shocked" and dismayed that someone leaked her tape...but she's co-promoting it and would get proceeds from the sale. It was so blatant, but it sure did work

Tila Tequila did something similar, as did a few other as you said z-list celebrities.

I don't recall Pam or Tommy ever promoting their sex tape, though.

I don’t put anything past Kris Jenner. I doubt Kim leaked the tape; she even sued to prevent its release. She settled out of court and the tape came out, meaning she must have agreed to its release with a chunk of the proceeds. But how much she had to do with it vs her mother, I can’t say.

 

In order for a pornographic film to be legally released in America (like Vivid did) all performers have to have signed forms attesting to their legal age and willingness to appear in the film on file at the companies corporate office and copies of their government issued IDs in the file as well. In short, there is no way she wasn't a producer because if you try to believe her story that the tape was "stolen" it kind of falls apart because there is no way Vivid pays any amount of money for a stolen tape because they couldn't release it without her (and Ray Js) full cooperation. So unless they knew she would sign, a legitimate porn company like Vivid would never own a video they couldn't prove was legal.

Pretty sure the Paris tape was released through an overseas website because of this issue

 

Yeah, I think it could be possibly be she knew it would get out anyway on the internet, thus notified them she'd accept a deal. Might as well make a buck.

But I doubt it. My memory is hazy, but she was pretty much a literally-who at that point. It's not like Paris or Pam, who were quite famous when their stuff was leaked. How much of a market could there be without a push from Vivid? The whole thing reeked of orchestration.
