I mean, it'll probably be crap, but the same rule applies to this as to ST3 and Mutant Chronicles; need to see it regardless, if only to rail on it.

With Marnette Patterson. In prayer. Utilising passages from Saffron's Bible. ;)

And if Marnette Patterson's `Charmed` sister, Kaley Cuoco, showed up too, we'd have a blonde sandwich. ;)

Which you could then dive into.

Shit; now you've got me doing the sex thing. :(

You know, that's actually worked out okay.

The innocent developing his awesome powers, twisted by the dark side, tipping over into psychotic rage and loss, mindless servant of his master, discovering his son thought lost, bringing him to the knowledge of his existence, pulling him over to the dark side with the threat against the sister, his daughter never realised, and then, at the closest point, when he himself was weak, he watches his son do what he could not; resist. And in that moment, Anakin Skywalker rises once more, for one brief moment of life, to save his son and destroy the Emperor.

    Damn.

A couple of tears in my eyes writing that.

That definitely sums up the series in a great way. That's what I liked about the new three, they gave so much more depth to the over all story and to the characters. Sure, they wern't perfect, but I still enjoy them

Except for One. Well, maybe the pod race. Well, maybe some of the interaction between Qui-Gon and Padme the `handmaiden`. Well, the scene where Artoo is introduced to Threepio - got a big cheer in my cinema. And the bit before that where `Queen` Padme wants to know the identity of the heroic astromech droid - another big cheer.

I like One, I mean it's my least favorite, but I can watch it without getting into fits of rage like a lot of people do. Yeah, it definitely has some stuff that isn't all that great like Jar Jar and the gungans. I didn't really mind Jake Llyod's performance. I think people forgot that he's just a kid, his acting is only gonna be so good, so he didn't bother me. Though I could've done without the "yippees"

It also had all those great moments as you listed above as well as when Anakin first meets Obi-Wan. Darth Maul was great and the fight at the end was an amazing sight to see. It's a shame he was barely in the movie seeing how they slapped his face on every other product.

One also set up the entire story and how the Jedi culture worked, etc. It's a very essential piece in the grand scheme things. Even if it was a little bumpy of a ride.

Yeah - i hate Jar Jar with a fiery passion - but, luckily through the medium of DVD, i can skip most of his chapters.

The thing that pisses me off about the wasted opportunity with Darth Maul is this. Up until that moment on Naboo when he appears, tilts his saber and the second one pops out, you did not know, in the movie, that he had a double-blade.

But they'd plastered it on every trailer and fucking poster from Skywalker Ranch to the Zambezi River.

If they hadn't done that, can you imagine the reaction that scene would have gotten with audiences? Can you hear the gasps and shouts of `holy shit!` (amongst the older audiences)?

The blatant `virgin birth` parellels annoyed the crap out of me. This on the back of the movement to have Jedi made an official religion. Shit, 16,000 people said `Jedi` in the last census, and that was just in the UK.

Although it did make me laugh that when they made 3, they talked about going to Morocco to shoot the `Harry Potter` scene with Lars and Beru. Post modern or what?
