  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    use of the following image-hosts is a worthless effort. threads/posts with the following hosts are dedicated to be trashed/deleted. also valid for screencaps in the vid-mania.

    hosts which have banned Phun
    using these will lead to not-showing-up pics. don´t expect anyone editing and reupping your pics on other hosts.

    don´t forget:
    no zips, no plain links to other places. post the pics you want to share as thumbnails
    no url-shortener.

    recommended file-hosts are:
    (feel free to ask any of us mods or any of the regulars if you have questions about dealing with the following hosts)

    • www.imagevenue.com (check this small but fine tutorial - you just need to select "safe for work - which means no nudity - or "not safe for work")

    check here every now and then for news about specific file-host-problems.

    I don't know why people still use these image hosts as a way to make money. They only pay you pennies and it's a complete waste of time
