Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    After some discussion, the Mods have concluded that a change to the Signature Image Dimensions is acceptable.

    Starting today, the new allowed dimensions for a signature image are:

    550 pixels wide and 160 pixels high, since the height has always been the issue, and this suggestions kept that to a minimum, this was approved.

    This is a one time deal, so don't come back in 2 or 4 weeks looking to change it again.

    Previous allowed signature dimensions 450px wide x 150px high

    New allowed signature dimensions 550px wide x 160px high

    One line of text above and/or below the sig image is permissible, the size of the text should be kept to a minimum. NO .gifs or Smiley's above and/or below the sig image

    Additionally, please keep the file sizes as low as possible, the magic number would be 100KB

    hm. apologies when i added to, but let´s calm down.

    550x150 could very well not be the golden ratio, but aside the fact that this is supposed to be the maximum, not the exact required size... let´s either keep our sigs or make new ones, okay?
