If it delivers what has been promised it will allow huge leaps forward. It will also allow your great Aunt Eunice to be a professional artist in just 1 week. Let's face it, wont be much skill required to blend with content aware layers. Those mad skills you've been practicing and developing for the past 15 years just became a total waste of time.

It sure will make pretty pictures tho

Fucking amazing features, I'm looking forward to this since I never upgraded to CS4 itself. This actually looks worth it!

Does anyone else think that content aware stuff looks a bit too good to be true? Surely if it was an ultra HQ pic and you zoomed in you'd notice inconsistencies. It's still very impressive though.

Also, I bet the minimum system requirements are scary. I already have to optimise CS4 quite a bit to get it running smoothly. That 3D paint stuff looks pretty CPU intensive.

I bet the content aware results vary wildly depending on the image. the one they used was obviously used for a reason with soft textures top and bottom (grass and trees) and geometric shapes across the middle (fence). only the first version though remember, I'd pay to see what CS 10 will be like! I'm most impressed with the edge selection tool, and I'm lookin forward to their HDR plugin. I've tried some hdr software in the past and it's always been difficult to use but the cs5 one looks great, loving the hide ghost feature as well
