Ok, I just cant believe Billy aint in there somewhere.. I'd think he'd have a webcam link into his basement with him wearing the Saw mask making Avril dance around naked as a marionette or something.

Cy's annoying commentary:

1. not sure the effect you were going for

2. My pick - great ghosty contrast on a spooky char, excellent use of animation without being irritating. Only issue is the flashing face knocks out the bottom eyelid with white, aside from that 1 little error, it's perfect

3. keep working at it. Try using very small drop shadows to make your paste ins stand out a bit without having a cartoonish line. Keep on practicing your shape cut outs, theres an excellent tut in the creative resources thread by Kaos to help you out. Dont be discouraged, it takes practice practice practice

4. I like the concept and unless it's an odd intentional effect(?) only 1 error and 1 suggestion. (poss?) Error. Did you mean to have your overlay stop before the bottom edge of the piece? If so, it needs to be made certain that you did it on purpose, otherwise it's just sloppy (I did the same exact thing last week, I have no idea how or why and it ruined the sig totally). Suggestion. Try a 1 pixel outline or border around the whole sig. I know it sounds extraneous, but unless it's a OOB sig, it really does make your piece look finished.

5. Without #2, this would have been my choice. Only thing I can think of is maybe some mist on the water to give depth to the whole piece. Good work.

#2 got my vote, I just found it to be the best executed. The composition was great.

Although the .gif made it a little tacky, and the text placement could have been better thought out.

 

I didn't even saw that it was animated.

I would have voted for #5 if I had seen it before.
