  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Almost, it will be running a little longer so that everyone gets the chance to enter and vote, if you want to that is! The voting will be public just like sotw, also there will not be neccesary to include all the images used in the creation process.

    But it has to somehow be related to Thanksgiving!

    Will be posting the info and rules tomorrow!

    Out of interest, are gifs ok for SOTW? I've got no problem with them but I'd presumed there was an unwritten rule that they weren't allowed. I think in future whoever chooses a theme should stipulate whether they're allowed, same as we do with vertical sigs.

    For the record, this is in no way an attack on whoever made the gif this week, it's just if I knew they were allowed I'd probably have made some for previous weeks.

    Ok, hopefully this isn't perceived as spamming but I didn't want to post in the congrats post above (Mods, merge if you want)

    What's going on with the SoTW thread? Why are there so very very many spam posts, by many people who just created an account and no posts. Judging by the nicknames, it looks like it's people who know other names on the board, I'm just curious as to if someone's just taking a mickey...

    I realised there was a slight error in the animation right after the competition started. Happy to see it didn't cost me too many votes ;).

    I hope people are creative with the next theme and that the added week generates more entries!
