  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I can't remember if we ever gave this a go. We've done stuff similar.

    Basic premise is that someone posts an image (must be a base for a signature) and then anyone can take it and work on it, till either finished or put it back up to see what someone else does with it.

    I don't mean for everyone to be endlessly working on the same sig or one at a time. But to see if people can collaborate and see what two or three people working on the same thing can come up with. God knows there has been plenty of times i have gotten halfway through something and not know where to go with it.

    Lukin suggested that it would be a good idea to post who (or what) the subject is and maybe post any related images that you have for it.

    Just another Creative Backyard experiment thread :)

    good idea jamms, i think something similar was tried but it was more structured and never caught on. an informal collaboration thread might just work. maybe post some info on who the subject is and where the pics are from (if known), that way people can work with similar images if they want to?
