Hey Ares...wasn't the first season 2 ep fun?

Indeed. I wasn't sure if it be good as it went along. But thankfully, i was wrong.

I thought it was one of their more intense episodes which was great

alrighty...Heroes S2 bad? I don't think it was, it wasn't as good as S1, but it was still fun.

I think their biggest issue was the strike. They were setting up all this stuff and then all of a sudden they had to end it abrubtly cause of the strike. On the dvd they talked about what they were gonna do and even had some footage of stuff they had already shot, it was definitely going somewhere, especially with the virus storyline.

I'll admit though, I had trouble getting into the mexican kids story for a while until they met up with Sylar.

 

Even Kring apologised for how bad it turned out. No argument; a full second season would have rocked the house down; all the marks were there for a right old stonker.

But they didn't adapt to the strike quickly enough, and it showed.

It's why they have to open huge with Season 3; if they start dropping long, drawn out beats a la Season 1, they're going to haemmorhage (mangled that) viewers.

 

I guess they showed the first hour to a very large audience at a con and it received a great reaction

 

Yeah, 'cos a con crowd are so non-partisan.

Seriously, i have heard great things about the opening. But i've been assiduous in avoiding net locations or reports, or the IMDB board; i want to be properly shocked by any twists.

Don't get me wrong; with Hayden and Dania Ramirez, i want this show to succeed again. I thought Season 1 was truly awesome.

 

oh, and Smallville is such a terrible show But I've watched every episode, so, yeah.....

 

It did start out good. But the constant `American values are the best and wholesome` thing grates after a while.

And just how weak and simpering junior Superman can be. `Oh, Lana.` *vomit*

Best episodes are whenever he's under red K.

 

red k was fine for one time, then they just started abusing it. and how the hell was lois affected by red k lipstick when no one else did? that was just dumb

and yeah, they made Clark upset over her way too damn much and that whole 'i love you-i dont love you' story lasted way too damn long and her marrying lex was just so out of character

They missed an incredible story oppurtunity during the 100th episode. When Lex crashes into Lana's car and her's flip and she dies in the crash, Clark hears it and does his super fast run to the crash, with Lex seeing that...they should've stayed with that instead of the whole "go back in time" crap. It would've changed the show completely and given them so many new story ideas.

His love now gone, so he'd be pissed off for a quite a while which would create a lot of tension between the characters, which would help the eventual romance between him and Lois. And with Lex knowing about Clark, hell, he'd be an even bigger threat.

But instead they had to kill off Johnathon and stretch the Lana-Clark 'romance' to the point where it was so god damn boring. That's where the show lost it for me...and yet I still watch it

 

Just too invested to walk away now.

The first episode of SCC's second season was great, as is Summer. Who else repairs lacerations with a nail gun?
