Thank you. Unreal. I just googled Novig Sydney Sweeney Times Square! I know it's real life but it seems so surreal. What a gift she is! I almost want to find a Novig clickable ad with her in it and open a small account, not because I'm a gambler, but because I'm dumb enough to lose a couple of dollars to directly help encourage these types of advertising shoots.

She is the flavor of the week or the so called "it girl" of the moment. Smart on her to cash in now because she will thrown to the wayside in 5 years like almost young actresses.

 

Probably not with this one. She's been opening companies and partnering up with the right people for her exploits. Unlike many other actresses, Sydney seems to be quite business-savvy. Hell, it's well-known that story that when she was a teen, she did a whole business presentation to her parents about why she wanted to be an actress and how they should let her pursue it.

 

I thought it was feminism to do what you wanted with your body. Syndey is... and she's making bank. Total feminism!!!

Syd for the win, though... in her latest IG story, Syd posted one of her pics and then 8 photos of nude athletes (both male and female) from ESPN's Body Issue! Nicely played, Syd!

 

I'm not sure if that's coming from herself personally or someone from her team, but what a great response! This makes me like her even more. She ain't playing their games. She's playing the game she wants to play.

 

She's not an athlete though; and they demonstrate their athleticism while she promotes a betting app. Sydney's cool, but this response feels more reactive than carefully thought out.

 

People, particularly women, have been unhappy about her owning her sexuality for years. Nothing new to see here; she continues to rightly ignore them and set her own path, and more power to her.

 

I don't think the complaint is "she's not an athlete". It's that she's "sexualizing" sports. She's pointing out that athletes did it long before her. And your point is even more of a point. She's doing a gambling ad. They are celebrating sports by getting naked. She's simply pointing out their hypocrisy, not saying she's an athlete.
