So I'm transferring mp3 and picture files from my laptop to my new computer via bluetooth. As I'm sitting here watching the progress bar, I'm wondering how this amazing technology works. And if all those tiny music and picture bits are now floating through the air, through my skin, my brain, and back to the air to the computer....

My co-worker's daughter is buying my old laptop. I'm semi-panicky. I know I can install OS X anew and with that get it back to the factory settings. But I can't help but thinking: what if my nude phun pics are still there somewhere? What if she goes la la la la oh let me upload some pics *opens iPhoto* ah nice there's already some examples in there, let's see, this looks like.... WHAT THE FUCK!! MOMMY!!!!

Well it means erasing the hardrive completely, but you'll have to re-install everything, including the operating system.

But I doubt that is necessary, just make sure they are all deleted.

God! I know people like that too, I always have to watch what I'm saying in front of them, I end up feeling like a programed robot or something; I mean who doesn't curse!!

 

Yeah, in front of my clients I have to be especially careful. I have to remember myself all the time that I can't say "shit" etc like I normally would. It's so funny when one of them lets out a "Shit!!" and then looks totally horrified and apologizes to me.
