    If we get half an inch of rain in a specific area it turns into a raging flood zone. Still, people think their cars are invincable - until they start floating like canoes! Clark County has spent over $10 billion on flood control in the Las Vegas valley over the past 20 years so it's not as insane as it used to be, but they're not finished with flood abatement programs yet. Whoever said it was right: Nature is a mother.

    :yup: And in December the first week we had 4 times the amount we normally get in the whole month!!!

    The biggest problem at the moment is a lot of dams are overfull and have to release water but everything downstream is flooded as well...damned if you do damnewd if you don't
