Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Being new here, I find it sad that just as I joined, the atmosphere has turned sour, while prominent and talented contributors are leaving. I put below my thoughts, not on the dispute itself, but its repercussions.

    Was the violation constant, or a single occurrence, in which case deleting/trashing (with warning) might have been the applicable measure?

    Euphoria’s mature response has earned my respect, she seems to have character and much sense. Btw, I don’t think she is ugly.

    Mastermind’s departure will be a big loss to the board.
    Specifically, he:

    Has considerable skills
    Spent lots of his free time for the forum, adding considerable value to it
    Devoted time and effort in filling individual requests without personal gain
    Apparently incurred personal expenses in hiring DVDs and refused to take money
    His gif thread is highly popular
    Has been a long standing member
    Had previously shown good conduct
    Seems a nice and generous guy.

    Though it seems that those who value Mastermind’s work will be able to continue to follow it elsewhere, this is not the only issue. I still find it depressing that all the above have been brushed aside so easily, and after so much thanking (3,297 times at present)!

    Whoa ... I've just come back from a two week holiday and It looks like I missed all the madness :(
    can I just say that I'm a massive MM2K2 fan
    and I just hope he continues to keep making gifs as the guy simply makes the best gifs on the net,if so ,I will be following him where ever he goes to next

    phun will be loosing a fantastic member once he's gone ,but I do respect his decision to leave ,and I think his parting after he has fulfilled all the requests ,shows us all,what a nice guy he really is
