That's the one I was thinking of, just couldn't remember the name. I've seen quite a few on the road.

 

And those tires aren't cheap.

 

I could not remember the name either....so I Googled three wheel motorcycles and found it...

 

I googled motorized trike.

 

I've never driven a motorcycle in my life. I've been a passenger, and I've driven a mini-bike as a young teen. That's as close as I ever got.

 

Yeah, my guess is about $300 installed which is about $50 less than what I pay to have two tires installed on my Harley......and I get about 15K miles out of a set. I get good mileage out of my tires as I am an "easy rider." One friend with a Spyder only gets about 4K miles on his rear tire, but he tends to hot rod a bit.

 

I heard today that a city near Gainesville is being dissolved after writing $200,000 in traffic tickets and using that money for corruption.

 

I have had bikes most of my life starting when I was 14, which I had to hide from my parents until I left home. I saved my money from my paper route and paid $250 for the parts from three wrecked Triumphs from which I constructed one functioning bike.....ended up with a Bonneville frame and Trident front forks & engine (3-cylinder, 750cc). It was too big for me to legally operate as a 14 year old, so I had a fake driver's license. :shock:

 

They said the population is about 470 people.

 

I used to ride but I was a bit reckless so I gave it up before something egregious happened to me.

Yeah, I was thinking between 300 and 600, depending. Those wide, high performance uni-directionals are pretty dear.

I have never been hurt while ON a motorcycle.....have had several close calls due to idiot cagers though.

OK, I forgot the recently annexed the 7-11 near them...

 

I crashed in a corn field once. That shit hurt. And I once laid it over on a gravel road, though I wasn't going all that fast at the time. Loose gravel sucks. A couple of close calls that could have wound up in my death. Bikes are a lot of fun, but I didn't really respect them.
