Think a little bigger It's a 10 week campaign. Last year we raised over $60,000 in the 10 weeks! Me and a team of 9 others.

Meh...it goes. Weekends are my busy days at work. Starting with a 10-11 hour shift on Fridays. Got in at aroind 9:30 and smoked a couple blunts. Now just sitting on couch high as a motherfucker!

After I work a long ass shift I end up staying up late cuz I hate the idea of going to sleep when I finally got home.

 

I understand that. I used to work long shifts like that when I bartended in New Orleans. After work we go out and party and before I knew it it was noon and I'd have to get 4 hours of sleep before doing it again. I was much more resilient in those days. That shit would kill me now.

 

My resilience aint what it used to be. I feel the effects. The weekends run me down pretty good.

Hows things in cali?

 

It's been warm lately, I like it. Aside from that, status quo. Not much to report.

Hi you guys!

 

Today was the first day this year I wished I had worn shorts. Should be nice tomorrow and a possible high of 80 Sunday. Its nice to drive with the windows down and not have a big heavy coat on. Of course, it will wear out quick and ill be wishing for it to cool down. Such is the way of things in NJ.

 

I still do that … not so much of the partying, but the long hours. I'll lose track of time and realize I've been up for 24 hours straight or so. But, that's down from even a few years ago and I feel it more the next day. When I like 20, it was 36-48 hours and I was partying. I'm convinced I'll devolve into eating tuna for dinner at 3pm by the time I'm 40.

I never tire of warm weather. Hot weather, yes, but not warm weather.

I was a party animal in my 20s and most of my 30s. All that shit caught up to me at 40, although that didn't/hasn't prevented me from pushing the envelope from time to time.
