Well, I was having a pleasant dream about I know not what when shadow spectres dressed like Victorian undertakers magically appeared from an alternate dimension and took my "friend" (no one I actually know in reality) into custody. They fixed some rather wicked looking manacles to his wrists and led him off to I know not where. It was rather distressing and startled me awake. I hate when that happens (being startled awake, not having amorphous beings from alternate realities invade my dreams - that happens quite often, so I'm used to it) because then I have a difficult time getting back to sleep. Or in this case, not being able to at all.

we had an excellent trip to the City. Surgeon was very happy with my progress of healing.

 

Glad thinks continue to go well for you and yours, Inuk.

Kind of a slow day here......hoping to dodge the afternoon rains here so my property may continue to dry out after being flooded for many days.

 

the Doctor confirmed what I thought. hand has around 65% feeling, lower in my thumb and index finger, 75 to 80% mobility.

he told me there was a bit of luck involved in my surgery too, there are a couple of nerves he reattached and they aren't exactly colour coded (heh), some are of mobility and others feeling, he said if he reattached the wrong ones there would be fuck all! he said there was some luck and I told him a lot of skill!

same surgeon that fixed my poppy shoulder a couple years ago.

 

I saw you got a lot of rain there Thore!

my Baby and I had a lot of fun in the City. put over 300 kilometers on the rental car! was a real blast!

 

Sound like your are continuing to heal and recover which is good.....and having a little fun every now and then is also a good thing. Actually, life is really about feeling good, having fun and loving as much as you can.

 

yes the recovery is coming along, I'll see him again in 6 months.

we spent so much money shopping, hotels, rental car and meals in the City. lol like 3K! but it was so much fun!

well Brother Thore, the planes just took off and I have 2 hours to work on the Runway before the Skeds (scheduled flights) come in. I'll try pop in this afternoon!
