    Some years ago a couple friends did borrow a camera i had, they got the photo's from the memory card and deleted them from my memory card. Then there pc crashed and they lost the photo's, they asked me if i could restore them from there harddrive. Because the harddrive crashed and was dead, thet was impossible, i told them i could try to use recovery on memory card to see if i could get pics back and that worked, so they were very happy with the pics as they were of there newborn son

    my sd card died on me in the camera and wasn't readable once.. had to take it out of the camera and then reinsert it to make it work again.. have you tried that scribe?
