    I didn't learn that from a textbook. There's lots of points along the Colorado named "Grand this" or "Grand that," such as Grand Junction, Colorado.
    I thought I would have trouble with my vertigo but I didn't. Not until I looked into the canyon after dark, then it was downright disconcerting.

    No doubt. That shit can paralyze you. I experience terrible vertigo after anything over 9 or 10 feet high. Its ridiculous.

    Its funny really. I can remember very vaguely falling from the top of a slide when I was very young. I landed on my head. Always thought maybe that had something to do with my extreme fear of heights and vertigo.

    When I look over the edge of someplace high I can picture and feel myself falling from there very vividly. Its so bad that I will have a meltdown if I saw you near the edge looking over. I get very tense and anxious.

    Probably. I once froze on a 20 foot extension ladder while masking ceiling beams for painting. I haven't cared for edges ever since. Even so, I never felt any sort of fear of heights while there.
