AFK for 15

Back.....Domenic found a snake on the porch....:roll:....took a while to get him to leave it alone; about 12 to 18" long, skinny and an olive drab brown color with three longitudinal black stripes....a harmless garder type snake. Hopefully it will move along now and find a less dangerous place to be.

 

My computer's fooking up. Sorry.

I went to bed about 11 last night and did not get up until a little after ten this morning.

 

Holy moly Thore. How did it feel when you woke up?

maybe a little more stiff than normal, but generally, OK.

 

That snake went up the outside brick wall! :shock:

 

That's a BIG one! Around here they call them "gardener snakes" (they aerate the garden) and "garter snakes," which is just a misuse of the first one.

 

I think Thore should look it up and get us the right name for the damn things.

 

It is a common snake around here....totally harmless. We have SNAKES down here. I killed a 7 foot Eastern Diamond Back rattler several years ago.....it had just consumed a rabbit. We also have several species of snakes that reach 5 to 7 feet in length that are not poisonous, but have a nasty temperaments.
