My only real gripe at the beginning was that the look of the Transformers were too drastic from the original designs. I mean, I know it's a big budget movie and they're gonna look different to some degree, but I thought that most of them looked too different. I've grown to like how Optimus and Bumblebee look...but Megatron is atrocious.

don't mind me, moving on :p

I'm sure she was babbling about something. But when doesn't she? :p

Dude, come on; that's not really a spoiler, and that's a fairly `old` movie in today's standards. It's like, of our generation, who hasn't seen The Sixth Sense, y'know?

Yeah, 'cos he would have looked soooo much better as a big gun. :p

The whole `alien space fighter` thing makes perfect sense because he wouldn't have scanned anything to transform into.

A C-minus movie that is elevated to A-minus by virtue of it's ending. One of the two decent movies that Shyamaladingdong made before descending into overblown shit. ;)

I've learned to listen to the womenfolk, if not always respond. Occasionally they reveal something useful. ;)

    Me.

Don't worry, I was just eggin' ya. Spoilers don't bother me the least little bit... Usually. :)

I'm in total agreement that him being gun would've been very lame. But I think it should've been something at least close to it, maybe like a tank or something instead of a plane.

And his robot design...it was all spikey and I dunno, I just wasn't all that crazy about it. But they at least got his attitude right.

    haha Shyamaladingdong :p

yeah, his two best movies are easily Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Signs was alright, it had some good creepy moments. The Villiage had potential, it could've been a really scary movie, but wasn't. Lady in the Water was...meh. I read what The Happening was about and it sounded hilarious.

But the design made sense, in the scope of the movie.

I prefer Unbreakable over The Sixth Sense; Unbreakable sucks me in whenever i catch it on TV, and the twist at the end is still shocking as all hell. Signs was pretty stupid. The Village was a nice idea but the twist was always going to be one of two things that i thought, and i was right. Lady in the Water was retarded. And after reading the plot of The Happening, and the reviews of people i know and respect who'd suffered through it, i gave it a wide berth. Last i checked, The Happening was holding at 19% on Rotten Tomatoes. ;)

Jesus, hayd posted an entire set from Erica Campbell in his 15K milestone. That's only slightly against the rules.

One thing they did with his design that I thought was really cool is when he's in his robot form, the car doors on his back look like wings :)
