Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Sorry, give me a few minutes - can't remember the name of the freeware. Partition Magic does it but you have to pay for that. I'm pretty sure I can find another one for you.

    It would be marked as useable - you would need to create the partition but that's easy enough. If you don't need the data that's on it that's the quickest, easiest way to do it. Here a free source app that you can boot off an iso image and modify the partitions if you want to keep the data.

    Good enough. Right click on my computer - then left click on Manage. You'll see Disk Management - click on that and it will show all your drives. Just right click on the 2 partitions then delete the partitions. Now you should see it as available disk space. Right click the entire disk space and left click on the option to Format. Chose ntfs when it asked what type. After the format is finished right click on it one more time and left click on assign drive letter - give it whatever letter you please, doesn't have to be in order.
