    well this comp is a 2.0 celeron. so it will be slower than what you currently have. it is great for surfing and watching videos etc. but not powerful enough to run huge programs like photoshop or video rendering programs.

    that would be 2.0GHz but i think i have 512 megs of ram. so memory is equal but cpu is slower.

    press these 3 buttons

    ctrl + ALT + delete

    and you will see task manager pop up

    go to the processes tab and click on the "mem usage" tab until it lists the highest mem usage item first and read to me what some of them are and how much they are using.

    then repeat the process for "cpu" and tell me what is running and using the most cpu.

    if you have not changed anything to your comp and it is now getting slow you could have a virus.

    ybrowser.exe is a non-essential program that is eating up way to much of your memory causing the lag. just highlight it and click the "end process" on task manager and open up photoshop and see if you still have the smae lag problem
