    I haven't had any rabbit in forever. We always deep fried ours, never had it in a roast.

    This is the south Magge, we deep fry everything we can. :lol:

    Skin the rabbit, trim the meat off the bones, dip it in a mixture of buttermilk, egg, salt, and pepper - then roll it over in flower - drop it in your iron fring pan. You can tell when it's done, it looks like fried chicken. This is actually rabbit here.

    Ofcourse we always ate it with mashed potatoes, some sort beans, and biscuits - our biscuits not cookies.
