    I am so tempted to call in sick this afternoon. my cousin called me up earlier. he heard a few people were able to harvest some caribou about 15 to 20 miles out of town! pretty close for this time of year.

    so we are going to go for a ride after work and go look for some caribou. hope to run into some. I am going to drop off my knife to him in a bit so he can sharpen it up.

    the Sun isn't going to set until 10:38pm anyway so there is going to be lot's of sunlight. it's only -18C/0F too so it's a beautiful day out there!

    yeah no doubt, I'm so used to the cold -17C it so warm!

    WOOHOO!

    my Brother was able to harvest some caribou. my Mom made some mipku, caribou jerky, and my Brother cut up some caribou meat. they sent some over. can't wait.
