    the guys at the end of the finish line said my last race was the closest one! I was barely beat out. I had a shitty start, I was ahead of the other sled the whole way except the last 20 feet. that's when I was passed.

    they said I was barely beat. would have placed otherwise.

    so much fun though!

    we stood around watching the first races. they do them in classes, fan cooled class then liquid cooled after.

    the fan cooled races took around 90 minutes to finish. standing around my hands got pretty chilled. before the race I was tryig to warm them up here. this is when we were choosing numbers to see who we would go up against. after my first heat I was so pumped up with adrenaline I didn't even feel the cold until 30 minutes later when I was done racing!
