    I got sucked into The Mentalist; become quite the fan.

    It's fine, for a police procedural. It's better than the CSI's.

    Well, Kirk did go from in trouble Cadet to Captain in about three days, so I guess that's how it works in Abrams Trekverse. :p

    lol that's one of the few things I thought was a little odd in the movie, just how fast people got promoted and what not

    but overall I really loved the movie :D I thought it was the first good one to come out since First Contact
