I had to stay home from work again tonight. I was dressed and ready to go in, but after my stretches my knee didn't get any better, so I'm screwed tonight. I'm scheduled off tomorrow night. I'll try again Monday, and have it drained Tuesday morning.

 

We normally don't get this weather until late July and into August. We are a good month early. This does not bode well for hurricane season.

 

I hope this is just a momentary blip this year. The Hurricane Center is predicting normal or below normal, aren't they?

 

Man, sorry to hear that. I know that if I had to do manual labor, my body would be in full revolt. My elbows do not straighten and tonight I had to help my son move a full size couch from the street into our house. That really pissed off my right elbow - it may be a source of severe discomfort tomorrow.

Getting old sucks big time. I guess you have to become more cerebral and less physical.

They predicted the normal number of storms, but hedged on the question of whether or not there would be more major storms. Of course, if they all just spin off into the Atlantic and done make land fall, it is a moot point. We can only hope.

More like a whimpy root beer vanilla float. I use diet root beer (sugar avoidance) and the half and half is better for me than either ice cream or frozen yogurt. You do what you have to do.....
